Memorial Weekend
I bought this desk on Craigslist for $15. It was really old but made of solid oak (I think). I designed a computer cabinet and asked Chad if he thought we could build it. And here it is! It took us 2 days of hard work, but it was totally worth it. I think it turned out pretty cool. Chad has some mad :) skills!

CATCH UP!!
So I understand that my sister is mad at me and hopefully no one else is for not updating the blog. We have been really busy and a lot has been going on!
Chads brother, Trevor came home from his mission and we are happy to have him home! Carter is talking like a mad man. I love it and he is communicating really well. He is sure growing up fast. We had a little photo shoot and I'll post some pics of what we came up with!

Best Anniversary Ever!

Happy 5th Anniversary Chad! So Chad surprised me with an awesome day full of activities that he had been planning for weeks. He was so cute; he even had a typed agenda. We dropped Carter off at my sisters for the weekend and we headed to Spokane. Chad got us a beautiful hotel room overlooking the river on the top floor of the hotel. It was really cool. Then we went to a restaurant called Clinkerdaggers. I know I know it sounds kinda medieval or something, but it was a cool fine dining restaurant that used to be an old flour mill. Very neat. After dinner we went to a show called "Burn the Floor". OK guys you have to see this. If you like dancing, this is a cant miss. Chad really liked it too. We both had a great time. It was fun to see people giving us things left and right because it was our anniversary. The hotel found out we were going to Clinkerdaggers and gave us a free appetizer card. After the show, our driver, asked what our plans were and we were hoping to get in the hot tub or sauna but they were closing when we got there. The driver offered to close down the pool area to everyone but us. He hit the lights and all we could see was were the city lights past the wall of glass. We grabbed some Ben and Jerry's ice cream (his suggestion) and ate it in the jacuzzi. Talk about delish! It has been a wonderful 5 years and I really feel that every year gets better and better. I'm excited for what is to come.
